About Us

Pooch Mobile grooming service was founded in 2010 by James & Lori Edwards. The experience gained from having worked for several traditional grooming shops led us to explore other business options that were a good fit for us. There was a definite lack of mobile grooming services in the Montreal area so we did our research and found that the mobile grooming option was a perfect fit! Before long we realized that the severe climate conditions that we experience working in the Montreal area would be a real challenge to overcome. We went to work and built a custom-made unit, to provide not only an optimal environment to groom in a safe, sanitary and efficient way, but also to do so comfortably on a frosty February evening as well as on a sweltering July afternoon! We chose to use a trailer as the platform for our grooming unit rather than a cube or Sprinter type van, primarily because the floor is much lower to the ground and allows our furry friends much easier access than all other options. The easy access virtually eliminates the need to carry or coax the larger breeds inside to be groomed. Over the last several years we have made countless improvements to both our equipment and our process to better accommodate our clients and their dogs grooming needs. We are proud of what we have accomplished thus far, and are enthusiastic about Pooch Mobile's future in the mobile grooming business. Our decision to pursue this challenging and fulfilling venture has proven to be a great experience for us! We very much look forward to growing our family of 'Pooch Pals', and to continually providing the degree of personal and professional service that our clients have come to expect from us.
